These Terms govern your access to and use of the xKiro platform (the AI model routing API, dashboard and related services). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to the terms below.
By registering an account, creating an API key or sending requests to the service, you confirm you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
xKiro provides an OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible API that routes your requests across multiple AI model providers, with API key management, usage metering, spend controls and automatic fallback.
The model catalog and pricing depend on third-party providers. Available models — including those offered within a plan — may be added, changed, replaced or discontinued over time, and in some cases without prior notice, particularly where changes originate from third-party providers or are otherwise outside our control.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice where feasible. A plan grants access to the then-current model catalog within the plan's allowance, and is not a guarantee of the availability of any specific model.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential, and for all activity under your account.
Do not expose API keys publicly (repos, client-side, logs).
Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.
We store API keys hashed and cannot recover the original key for you.
You agree NOT to use the service to:
Create or distribute illegal, fraudulent or rights-infringing content.
Bypass or interfere with rate limits, quotas or security mechanisms.
Resell or redistribute the service without written permission.
Violate the usage terms of the third-party model providers your requests are routed to.
We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate accounts in violation.
Some features require payment via plans or pay-as-you-go usage. Prices and limits are shown on the Pricing page.
For prepaid credit, your balance is debited by the actual cost of each request. For recurring subscriptions, fees are charged each cycle until you cancel.
Your wallet balance has two parts: (1) DEPOSITED FUNDS — money you topped up — usable for pay-as-you-go AND to buy or upgrade a plan; (2) PROMOTIONAL CREDIT — gifts, referral rewards and the unused portion credited when you upgrade — usable for pay-as-you-go ONLY and NOT for buying or upgrading a plan. Promotional credit may have an expiry date; deposited funds do not expire.
When you use the service on pay-as-you-go, PROMOTIONAL CREDIT is spent first, then DEPOSITED FUNDS (to preserve your real money for as long as possible).
Buying or upgrading a plan with your wallet balance uses DEPOSITED FUNDS only; promotional credit cannot be used to purchase a plan.
Unless required by applicable law, paid amounts are non-refundable. You may cancel renewal at any time; access remains until the end of the paid cycle.
Upgrading a plan: the new plan is charged in FULL immediately. The unused portion of your current plan — the amount you paid for the period minus the value of the usage you consumed during it — is added to your WALLET BALANCE as credit usable for pay-as-you-go, and is NOT refunded to your card or payment gateway. If you have already consumed (or exceeded) the value you paid, there is no remaining portion to credit.
Downgrading, or switching to a shorter billing cycle (e.g. yearly to monthly/quarterly), is not performed automatically mid-cycle. Please cancel renewal (you keep access until the end of the paid cycle) then subscribe to the plan you want.
The service may enforce rate limits, daily token quotas and spend caps depending on your plan, to protect the system and your account.
We strive to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, especially for parts dependent on third-party providers.
You retain rights to your input (prompts) and the output you receive, within the limits of applicable law and the model providers' terms.
xKiro's brand, interface, source code and documentation belong to us. You may not copy, modify or exploit them without authorisation.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that AI model output is accurate, complete or fit for your particular purpose.
You are responsible for evaluating and verifying output before relying on it in critical environments.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, xKiro is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (data loss, lost profits, business interruption) arising from use of the service.
Our total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may stop using and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the system.
Certain data (e.g. financial records) may be retained as required by law after account closure.
We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be communicated reasonably. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
